You cant just jump into any old opportunity that comes across your desk. You have to position yourself properly. That leads me into talking about a few key topics to focus on when youre looking at an online business opportunity. Remember. 1) Find a company and a product or service that you can use and benefit from. You have to be a product of the product as they say. So, if youre not interested in drinking a fancy juice everyday and talking about how good it is, then I wouldnt join a company that offers a product like that. Maybe you are more interested in wealth creationthen find a company that offers a service or product with that focus. Pretty simple stuff here. Find what YOU like. Dont let other people bully you into their business. 2) Team. You are going into business for yourself, but not by yourself. Make sure you have a sponsor that you get along with, that youre comfortable with, that is knowledgeable and can act as a mentor for you. In addition, find out what support the company offers in terms of customer service, coaching, or maybe the company has sales professionals that help close your leads (that is something the company that Im with actually offersand I LOVE IT!). 3) A quality Marketing System. I want to be clearnot a replicated website (that is a red flag). You need a site that you can customize and personalize. If you dont have a quality marketing system, it doesnt matter how AMAZING your product or service isyoure not in front of anyone. This means youre not making any money akayoure business is failing. This list could go on, but these are some of the primary areas you must look at when evaluating any business online. I would also like to mention one more thingand this could be thrown into the team section. What kind of support does the company provide in terms of education about marketing online.
